On Boxing Day while most were relaxing in front of the telly and winding down from Christmas the Holmes family 'Christine,
Jeff and Ernie' Plunged into the North Sea as part of the annual Boxing Day dip at Redcar. The Boxing Day dip is organised
by Redcar Lions and raises money for various charities. Christine has been getting small donations of between £1 and £5 from
friends, neighbours and colleagues since completing the dip. She'll be collecting until the end of February. If you would
like to add to Christine's collections and make a donation of any amount (No amount is too small) Please send cash, cheque
or PO made payable to either Christine Holmes or Teesside Lyons to the treasurer's address in the Newcastle branch magazine
